Larger restaurant with its own brewery in a rustic style. Good food and very friendly staff. The drinks are served, the food is put together at a counter as required. I go there again and again and can definitely recommend the restaurant.

First time in Murnau, almost everything closed on Mondays, and then this wonderful brewery is open. Rustic duck, just such a crust roast. In addition, a drinkable IPA that I would not have expected here. So the vacation week can begin.

Poorly thought-out system (at the time of Corona) meets understaffed staff! The self-service counter is at the entrance and does not reveal that you should register first. Several guests had food in hand and wanted to sit down, when they were told "... register first ...". We had done it in the correct order by accident but then had our meal but no drinks (drinks are served). When we were almost finished with the meal, the drinks arrived (but only because we had asked / ordered at the counter in the meantime). There were two conditions for the complete indoor and outdoor area. The food was good, so a total of 3 stars. The 1/4 duck with two dumplings and red cabbage was available for € 14. The Ur-Dunkel is highly recommended!

Great ambience in the tunnel vault. A classic pub with home-brewed beer. Old brew kettle in the guest room. Beer tastes good!

Super Bräustüberl, very nice waitresses, always a relaxed saying, you just feel good. The beer is highly recommended, especially the Märzen. Food in the form of a buffet and a good selection at reasonable prices. Highly recommended, we will be back.

Very good beer from our own brewery, seasonal beers depending on the season expand the offer, interesting brewery tours, typical Bavarian cuisine. A visit is always worthwhile!

The food was amazing - the sour pressack is awesome! Two thick slices of white and red Pressack plus a pretzel for just under € 8 - delicious!

Beer seminar was great. Beer tastes good. The food afterwards was also great. We recommend.

In a vault you can drink beer at higher tables like normal tables. You can only eat at one bay. Order and pay the buffet. More then canteen ambience. The food is served and paid for with the same staff. Not so hygienically regulated.

I only rate the brewery / restaurant here. The food was very good, large portion, great taste (had half the chicken) and above all nice and juicy! The side dishes were also good. Beer is also very good! Service friendly and quick! When I'm in the area again, I'll be back!

We were super satisfied, the beer was good as always, the atmosphere was comfortable and the service staff was professional and very friendly. Service in particular Eva and Jörg do a great job, you feel welcome as a guest. Keep it up!

Seated in the courtyard, where, among other things, they enjoyed various home-brewed beers and good Bavarian meals. Great place in Murnau to enjoy at the end of the day!

Traditional German Wirtshaus with good prices. Five stars!

5 stars for the beer, 1 star for the service. We arrived as a party of 6 to have a nice lunch with our family, however for some reason we were told we could only eat from the buffet despite them having a regular menu. The buffet was fly infested and old, and the men serving the plates were extremely rude and unknowledgeable. My mom got her plate first (with all of us behind her), went to put her plate down at our table, and was then yelled at by the cashier that she had to pay first. She told him that she we were all together (in both English and in German) and he kept saying “No you pay now” over and over. I also have a dairy allergy and ended up only being able to eat the red cabbage from the buffet. When I asked if I could get something off the regular menu (Weiss wurst) the man told me it was only being served till 2pm... but it was 3pm and other customers had been Just served Weiss wurst. I then asked a female server and she brought the Weiss wurst no problem. The beer was delicious though. Just stay away from the “restaurant”.

Great little brewery with super restaurant serving the beer in traditional style. There is also a gasthaus / hotel attached. Great centre for the local, extensive, largely off road, cycle tracks. Great beer too!

We booked in advance brewery tour which included beer tasting and beer seminar. Wolfgang, the brewmaster is a great host. Excellent guiuded tour, delicious beer and foods. We will go back! Prices are: 💶 💶 💶 Food is delicious: 👌👌👌👌👌 Atmosphere:💃🕺💃🕺💃 Cleanliness: 💡💡💡💡 ... on a scale 1 to 5

Amazimg experience! We missed the tour, but the staff was extremely accommodating. They got us a table and began the beer sampling!! For just €6,60 we got 4 of their amazing house beers. Now these were regular size drinks and not your average American sample size cup. Great atmosphere and awesome staff. Needless to say we bought a party keg for €14 of their amazing dunkle beer since they don't export outside of this area!! Must go

No English menu, no interest in serving non-German customer. Just grab a beer if you like and go somewhere else. One star for beer, though.

I absolutely love this place. There's nothing bad to say about it. The food, perfect. The beer is even better, you have to have the helles. If you get to talk to the brew master Wolfgang he is a great guy. Absolutely amazing place.

Murnau is already a really charming place to visit and the Griesbräu Hotel and Brewery just add to it. We have spent only one night there but it was a really relaxing cozy stay topped with their own fantastic beer, 10/10, definitely recommend.
